East Towers is a proposed 500,000 SF mixed-use development slated to be the epicenter of the emerging Duke District redevelopment area in Washington DC slated to begin construction in 1Q 2024. The partnership includes Lowe Enterprises, FLGA Real Estate Group, Affinius Capital and Howard University. Greene Enterprises has served as Owner’s Rep for FLGA Real Estate Group and was integral to partnership success in project award through a competitive solicitation against some of the nation’s top development partners. Since award, Greene Enterprises has supported ownership through ground lease negotiation, development agreement negotiation, entitlement, design, financing and will support ownership through construction. Of note, Greene Enterprises, was the architect for the project’s oriented package, which includes a targeted raise of over $20 Million in minority equity as well as the conceptualization of a real estate program providing pathways to commercial real estate for Howard University students that will generate over 50 internships across the life of the project.
